Quoting and order intake
Your quoting suite came with your profile system.
It runs your bill of materials and your machine files. It does not hold your pricing logic, your discount rules, or the way your surveyors actually measure. Those live in senior heads and spreadsheets, which is why quotes still take days. We build the layer that holds them, wired into the systems you already run.
Why a layer, not a replacement
Your vendor's roadmap is not your roadmap.
The industry suites are good at what they were built for, and ripping one out is a bad idea we will not pitch to you. But the market around them has consolidated: Forterro acquired Orgadata and Klaes, and Cyncly holds FeneVision and Soft Tech. A platform owner at that scale does not do one-off custom work at fabricator deal sizes. If your own pricing logic needs to live in the system, it becomes a change request in someone else's queue.
The layer works the other way around: your pricing logic and your measurement workflow, built beside the suite and your ERP, writing clean data back into both. You keep the systems. You stop waiting on them.
What the layer covers
From inquiry to installed, on one order record.
AI-assisted quoting
Your pricing rules, discount ladders and margin floors, encoded and applied the same way on every quote, instead of living in two senior estimators and a spreadsheet.
Guided site measurement
A measurement app that walks the surveyor through the opening, so measurements arrive on the quote as structured data with the photos attached.
CAD to fabrication handoff
The quote generates fabrication data instead of being re-drawn by hand. Removing the manual redraw is what collapsed quote turnaround and defects at FENIX.
Installer mobile app
The crew on site works from the same order record the quote created. What they log flows straight back into it.
Integration into what you already run
The layer writes into your existing ERP and CRM. We do not sell a replacement, and we do not ask you to migrate.
Proved in production
FENIX TEAM PLAST, windows and doors.
A complete build of this layer: AI quoting, guided measurement with photo capture, automated CAD generation, production scheduling, an installer app and a customer portal, integrated into the ERP and CRM they already ran.
Scope, stated plainly
The FENIX integration was into their existing ERP and CRM. We have not yet shipped a connector for LogiKal, Klaes, FeneVision or Soft Tech, and no named CNC postprocessor. If your pricing logic lives inside one of those suites, that connector is the first thing we scope together, and you will hear what it takes on the first call rather than after the contract.
Before you write to us
The questions buyers actually ask.
We already have a quoting suite. Why would we need a layer beside it?
Keep the suite; it earns its place on bills of materials and machine files. But your discount ladder and the way your crews actually survey a site never made it into its configuration, and its vendor roadmap is not yours. The layer holds exactly that part and writes the result back into the systems you keep.
What does a first engagement look like?
Deliberately scoped: one product family, one branch, quote turnaround as the single measured KPI. Working software is demoed weekly, and a focused first phase ships in about 6 weeks. Enterprise CPQ rollouts commonly budget a year or more for the same decision.
What does it cost?
Projects start at $25,000. A first quoting build with one integration typically lands well above the minimum, and after discovery you get a fixed price for a defined scope, not an hourly estimate that drifts.
Who is this for?
Established made-to-order manufacturers, typically 20 to 250 people, that price and configure every order from scratch: windows and doors, facades, glazing, metal fabrication, modular assemblies. If you are a two-person shop quoting from a price list, this build is more system than you need, and we will say so on the call.
Start with the numbers
Bring one product family and last month's quote log.
A 30-minute call. We will tell you what the layer would cover, what it will not, and what FENIX teaches about your case.
